The Menturnship Program is a 3-month “rites of passage” program for young men. Our graduates become more than “Leaders”, they become "Servant Leaders", Leaders who have purposed to live a life "Much Greater Than Themselves"!  They become men who are not afraid to speak truth to power, are uncompromised, full of integrity and at the very core of their being, see the welfare and protection of their people as paramount.

The program’s hours are from 2pm to 4pm on Saturdays and runs for 12 weeks. Each week the participants and their parents/caregivers will have access to, a group facilitator, the program’s Director and Founder to ensure that all of their needs and or concerns are met.

To ensure that our Menturns transition into 21st Century "Change Agents" our staff/mentors include:

Licensed Mental Health Counselors

Certified Rehabilitation Counselors

Business Professionals

Entrepreneurs

Accomplished: Sports, Music, Arts & Entertainment Professionals

                         and most importantly

Concerned: Moms, Dads and Family Members (biological and extended)

Once Menturns have completed the Menturnship program, there’s an aftercare component which provides ongoing support for the Graduates. The aftercare component aims to facilitate interaction and involvement between youth and the community; it will provide referrals to resources and outside support, as appropriate, and maintain a focus on achievement of graduates’ personal goals. We will provide opportunities for youth to participate in workshops, forums and events that will encourage them to excel in school as well as continue their education beyond high school.

It is essential that parents and caregivers be involved in the work that we will do with their children. We plan to empower parents and primary caregivers with tools and techniques that enhance the growth and development of healthy youth. Our goal is to provide social and personal development opportunities through workshops and family coaching.

None of us live in a bubble, thus every person, place, or experience affects the outcomes realized by teen boys. Our aim is to go deeper into the process of serving teen boys by way of providing a holistic experience involving parents/care-givers, family/friends, school, and community advocates.
